Landscape Format and Squiggly Greenery

This is a sketch of Lost Lake in Whistler, Canada from a family trip several summers ago.

This is the view my bedroom in my parents house. I painted this on one of our rare winter snow days.

Painted on the same Christmas break during college, this is my parent’s living room with its giant monster fern (before dad killed it, on purpose).

I was looking through my scanned sketches and noticed that all three of these had a similar theme of repeating greenery shapes. It was unintentional, but I guess shows that I have a particular way that I like to paint trees and plants!
