Gaiser Conservatory

It was blazing hot inside the conservatory for the most part so I didn’t stay too long, but the building is divided into four parts. The initial entry contains a lot of orchids and tropical plants.

The next room seemed to be completely dedicated to begonias in a riot of colors.

The third room was empty and roped off. I think that is where they grow the plants for the plant sales held to raise money for the park each year.

The fourth room was full of cacti, succulents, and dessert plants.

So all in all, a really fun visit and I highly recommend stopping by if you live in town. I think sketching inside the conservatory would be really fun once the weather cools down a bit.
